Saigon International College’s Greetings to Esteemed Parents and Students!
Saigon International College (SIC) is the unique public international high school model established by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, managed by the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA). Officially operating since November 2005, the SCSA is responsible for managing the training programs of all secondary schools in Western Australia under the supervision of the Western Australian Department of Education. The entire teaching program at SIC conforms to the teaching curriculum of Western Australia.
All subjects are taught directly in English by a team of native teachers following the schedule of schools in Western Australia. Annually, the Inspection Delegation of the SCSA visits and inspects SIC at least twice to ensure the standards and quality of the school’s teaching.
At the end of grade 12, students will take the graduation exam to obtain the WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education). This WACE certificate is internationally recognized and accepted by most universities in Australia as well as universities in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, various countries in Europe and Asia.
